From a brochure assignment exploring the problem of school violence in Toronto: Will provision of anonymous hotlines be helpful?
The Latest: News update from Galit Solomon of CTV News Sun Dec 7 , 2008 6.37 pm
"Student hotline mostly fields calls about bullying ctv.toronto.ca
Eleven months after a student hotline was set up at the Toronto District School Board, officials say it is proving to be a success. Since it was established, 625 calls were place to the hotline. Of those calls: 95% were made during the school year, 70% came from elementary school students, 50% provided enough information for follow-up action" http://toronto.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20081207/TDSB_hotline_081207/20081207/?hub=TorontoNewHome
enigmatic toolbox

enigmatic toolbox, originally uploaded by hurricane_cat.
This toolbox was orginally meant to transport graphic design supplies. It travelled a fair bit, eventually becoming a special effects makeup kit. Finally it became a real toolbox and I was able to organize it well; all those little screws and nuts and bolts nicely sorted, great pliers, foreign screwdrivers. I put a lock on it so that the baby wouldn't play with the contents.
The last time I saw this toolbox, I was feeling compelled to do some building and catch the sunrise at the same time. It was halloween and I got spooked, left the toolbox at a cafe. Later I returned to retrieve the toolbox, confirmed found at this same cafe, but apparently whoever found it and took it home, tossed it away as well.
The drawing in the creepy polish poster style reveals a mystery: whatever did happen to that red tool box?
OF recent interest to me, is the astronauts toolbox, accidentally released into space. It's moving really fast--takes about two hours to orbit the earth. You can see the path the toolbox is taking in space by clicking on the following link: http://www.n2yo.com/?s=33442

budweiser- hailing taxi scene

homework assignment: a still from storyboard for beer commercial

The drawing was made from my imagination last fall. People wanted to know where is this club? Now I have a clue.
Thanks to my mother who told me about this place she went for lunch when she was in Edinburgh this summer. Edinburgh is my first home. And this place is called The Dome, which is previously Royal Bank of Scotland. Now it's a Restaurant and Bar. I googled it and thought it was surprisingly similar to the picture in my imagination that became the Budweiser drawing.

2008 questions about race
A questionnaire loaded with questions about race was sent home to parents so the school could get a better idea of the student body.
Not sure how to answer these questions, and have a few of my own like why the race card in this day and age?
