enigmatic toolbox

enigmatic toolbox, originally uploaded by hurricane_cat.

This toolbox was orginally meant to transport graphic design supplies. It travelled a fair bit, eventually becoming a special effects makeup kit. Finally it became a real toolbox and I was able to organize it well; all those little screws and nuts and bolts nicely sorted, great pliers, foreign screwdrivers. I put a lock on it so that the baby wouldn't play with the contents.
The last time I saw this toolbox, I was feeling compelled to do some building and catch the sunrise at the same time. It was halloween and I got spooked, left the toolbox at a cafe. Later I returned to retrieve the toolbox, confirmed found at this same cafe, but apparently whoever found it and took it home, tossed it away as well.
The drawing in the creepy polish poster style reveals a mystery: whatever did happen to that red tool box?

OF recent interest to me, is the astronauts toolbox, accidentally released into space. It's moving really fast--takes about two hours to orbit the earth. You can see the path the toolbox is taking in space by clicking on the following link: http://www.n2yo.com/?s=33442
